Nails Inc Leather Effect Soho Mews & Essie Stroke of Brilliance

Today I have my very first textured polish to share with you guys! This is Nails Inc Soho Mews from the new leather effect line. Soho Mews is a tan color, on the darker side. When applying the polish if you look closely, you could actually see some of the texture. It  had good coverage in one coat, but I did two anyways.

It does look kind of like leather, right? ;P

I recently picked up Essie Stroke of Brilliance from the Luxeffects collection. From the swatches I've seen online I thought it was a denim blue glitter, but it was a bit lighter on the name. Well I guess it just changes in the lighting! It's defiantly a very pretty glitter and I think it looks best over lighter colors.

What made me love Stroke of Brilliance even more was how smooth it was with just one coat of Seche Vite. I hate when my nail polish is still bumpy after a coat of top coat, but I still love textured polishes!

Nails Inc Leather Effect comes in two more color: Noho (black) and Shoreditch Lane (burgundy); they retail for $12.50 at Sephora. I find Essie at many drugstores and beauty supplies for around $6-8.50.
